Job Title
• Registered Nurse - IMC/PCU/Stepdown

Schedule / Job Type
• Full-time, rotating shifts, 3x12-hour shifts per week (Night and Day rotations)

Key Responsibilities
• Provide specialized nursing care to patients in the Intermediate Care, Progressive Care, and Stepdown units.
• Monitor patient vitals, administer medications, and respond to patient emergencies with critical care skills.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and clinical protocols.
• Participate in shift handoffs and assist in training new staff as needed.

Required Qualifications
• Valid Ohio RN license or active Compact State License.
• Minimum of 18 months of permanent experience in Cardiac Stepdown or ICU/IMC units prior to travel.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• NIH Stroke Certification (if applicable).
• Successful completion of ECG rhythm recognition and SafeMedicate assessments during orientation; acceptable scores required.
• Ability to work every other holiday as scheduled.
• Negative 10-panel drug screen and Cotinine ( Nicotine) test within 12 months of start date.
• FBI/BCI background checks completed within 48 hours of contract signing.

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Recent travel experience in a cardiac stepdown or critical care setting.
• Experience with PCU/Progressive Care units.
• Strong proficiency in ECG rhythm recognition and critical care procedures.
