- Days shift, 8-week assignment
Key Responsibilities
- Provide rapid response nursing care in a large hospital facility specializing in various surgical procedures.
- Cover scheduled shifts from Friday to Monday, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
- Be on call for 1-2 shifts per week and 1 weekend per month.
- Assist with general OR surgeries, neuro/spine, cardiothoracic, orthopedic, gynecological, and robotic procedures.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including on-call trauma, neuro, and heart teams, to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies and practices, including being able to handle charge nurse responsibilities.
Required Qualifications
- RN license in good standing
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Ability to serve as a charge nurse
- OR experience in a large hospital setting
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Trauma Level II experience
- Orthopedic OR experience
- Experience with Neuro/Spine, CVT, Gynecology, or robotic surgeries
- Excellent communication skills and a flexible, easy-going personality
