Key Responsibilities
- Perform computed tomography (CT) imaging procedures accurately and efficiently.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging sessions.
- Follow all protocol and safety guidelines, including radiation safety.
- Assist in maintaining and calibrating imaging equipment.
- Document and report findings according to department standards.
- Collaborate with healthcare staff to deliver high-quality patient care.
Required Qualifications
- Certified CT Technologist with valid licensure and registration.
- Minimum of 1 year of inpatient acute care experience with level 1 trauma.
- Proficiency in GE Hi Def or Revolution CT scanners; Toshiba preferred.
- Strong peripheral IV skills; able to start IVs on outpatients.
- Associates Degree in Chemistry or related field required; certificate programs not accepted.
- Must have current flu vaccination and BILH coversheet upon submission.
- No first-time travelers; must have recent travel experience.
- Ability to work weekends and holidays, with at least every other weekend scheduled.
- 36 hours per week guaranteed, excluding on-call time.
- Must have level 1 trauma experience and inpatient acute care background.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with Point-of-Care testing.
- Familiarity with hospital protocols related to trauma and emergency care.
