Key Responsibilities

• Perform computed tomography (CT) imaging procedures accurately and efficiently.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging sessions.
• Follow all protocol and safety guidelines, including radiation safety.
• Assist in maintaining and calibrating imaging equipment.
• Document and report findings according to department standards.
• Collaborate with healthcare staff to deliver high-quality patient care.

Required Qualifications

• Certified CT Technologist with valid licensure and registration.
• Minimum of 1 year of inpatient acute care experience with level 1 trauma.
• Proficiency in GE Hi Def or Revolution CT scanners; Toshiba preferred.
• Strong peripheral IV skills; able to start IVs on outpatients.
• Associates Degree in Chemistry or related field required; certificate programs not accepted.
• Must have current flu vaccination and BILH coversheet upon submission.
• No first-time travelers; must have recent travel experience.
• Ability to work weekends and holidays, with at least every other weekend scheduled.
• 36 hours per week guaranteed, excluding on-call time.
• Must have level 1 trauma experience and inpatient acute care background.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Point-of-Care testing.
• Familiarity with hospital protocols related to trauma and emergency care.
