Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, day shifts, 8 hours per shift, 5 days per week

Key Responsibilities

• Reprocesses and disinfects surgical equipment and supplies following established protocols
• Conducts quality assurance measures and maintains relevant documentation
• Monitors equipment and supplies, requesting repairs or inventory replenishments as needed
• Maintains a thorough knowledge of equipment, processes, and infection control protocols
• Supports nursing staff with assigned tasks to ensure smooth unit operations

Required Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required
• Certified Endoscope Reprocessing (CER) certification is mandatory
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience in sterile processing or reprocessing
• Attention to detail and basic computer skills, including navigating web-based applications
• Must have reprocessing knowledge in otolaryngology
• Must have received the flu vaccine prior to start date; religious exemptions are not accepted, medical exemptions are permissible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a hospital or medical facility environment
• Knowledge of infection control procedures and quality assurance practices
