• Travel, 13-week assignment, Night shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized care to post-operative cardiac surgery patients in a dedicated CVICU setting
• Monitor and manage patients using advanced equipment such as Phillips telemetry monitors, Hill-Rom beds, and Alaris IV pumps
• Perform procedures including central line insertions, Swan-Ganz catheter placements, intubations, and device management (ECMO, LVADS)
• Assist with hemodynamic monitoring and manage complex cardiovascular care including IABP, Impella, and CRRT when applicable
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including intensivists, surgeons, and ancillary staff, to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Document patient assessments and interventions accurately in the Meditech system

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license
• 2+ years of critical care experience, including CVICU
• ACLS and BLS certifications
• Skilled in hemodynamic monitoring and use of advanced cardiac devices (PA catheter, Impella, ECMO)
• Experience with central line and Swan-Ganz catheter insertions

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with IABP, Impella, and CRRT procedures
• Knowledge of advanced post-operative cardiac care and device management
• Ability to adapt to a high-volume, fast-paced ICU environment
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
