Job Title

• Sterile Processing Technician

Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, Days shift, 8 hours per shift

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure sterility for infection control by decontaminating, reprocessing, and sterilizing reusable instruments and devices.
• Wash and reprocess used instruments, ensuring all instruments in sets are complete and accounted for.
• Track loaner instruments, reprocess for scheduled surgeries, and return to procedure areas.
• Maintain up-to-date Instructions for Use (IFU) for proper care and handling of equipment and instruments.
• Communicate across departments to ensure availability of necessary instruments and equipment.
• Maintain accurate sterilizer records, load logs, air flow records, and cleaning documentation in compliance with Joint Commission standards.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Sterile Processing Certification.
• At least 1 year of related work experience preferred.
• Ability to perform with high accuracy and attention to detail.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working with patient care supplies and equipment within materials management, surgery, or patient care settings.
