Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care to telemetry patients, monitoring cardiac rhythms and ensuring patient safety.
• Collaborate with medical teams to implement patient care plans and respond to acute clinical changes.
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and observations accurately in accordance with hospital protocols.
• Float to various units such as ED holds, inpatient units, PACU, and other boarding areas as needed.
• Participate in shift rotations including days and nights, with every other weekend work required.
• Adhere to hospital policies and maintain compliance with all healthcare regulations.

Required Qualifications

• Current and active RN license in the state of Massachusetts.
• BLS certification from AHA.
• Epic electronic health records experience.
• Ability to pass day one skills assessment.
• Must have at least 6 months of recent RN experience and be separated from BILH for a minimum of 6 months, unless current or previous employment was in a permanent, per diem, or contract capacity.
• Willingness to work 12-hour rotating day/night shifts (7 AM–7:30 PM / 7 PM–7:30 AM).
• Ability to work every other weekend and participate in rotating schedules.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• ACLS certification from AHA.
• NIHSS certification.
• Level 1 trauma experience.
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred but not required; prior Level 1 trauma experience may be required for those without travel background.

Additional Details

• BILH coversheet required at submission.
• Contract guarantee hours of 72 biweekly, excluding on-call times.
• Weekly start dates on Mondays.
• Floating occurs in 4-hour blocks; while rare, floating to various units including ED, inpatient, and PACU is expected.
• No Christmas time off will be approved.
