• Full-time, 12-hour shifts, rotating days and nights

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Medical Surgical and Telemetry unit at a major hospital facility.
• Administer medications, monitor patient vitals, and respond to patient needs.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Document patient care accurately in electronic health records.
• Assist with patient education and discharge planning.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 months of permanent experience in Medical Surgical or Telemetry nursing prior to travel assignments.
• Current Ohio license or valid compact license.
• Active BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
• Successful completion of ECG rhythm recognition test and SafeMedicate assessment during orientation.
• Willingness to work at least every other holiday.
• Ability to work 12-hour rotating shifts, including days and nights.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Recent travel nursing experience in Medical Surgical/Telemetry units is acceptable.
• Experience with electronic health records and telemetry monitoring systems.
• Strong skills in patient assessment, critical thinking, and collaboration.
