Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, travel, night shifts, 13-week assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients in the Intermediate Care/PCU/Stepdown unit.
• Monitor cardiac patients with interventions using critical thinking skills.
• Manage and troubleshoot equipment such as bedside monitors, pumps, and ventilators.
• Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care.
• Follow unit policies, including weekend rotations and on-call duties.
• Adhere to medication protocols including drip experiences like Heparin, Amio, Cardizem, and Insulin.

Required Qualifications

• Active BLS, ACLS, and NIH floating area certifications.
• ICU/IMCU experience preferred, with skills in chest tubes, BiPAP, trach management.
• Cardiac monitoring with clinical interventions.
• Experience with medication drips including Heparin, Amio, Cardizem, etc.
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in a similar setting.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Cardiovascular experience, including procedures like TAVR, heart cath, PCI, and pacemaker management.
• Strong critical thinking and communication skills.
• Outgoing personality with a team-oriented attitude.
