Schedule / Job Type
- Travel, Night shift (6:30 PM – 6:30 AM), 13-week assignment, approximately 3 shifts per week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory therapy care on a busy hospital unit, including ventilator and non-invasive ventilator patient monitoring
- Administer breathing treatments and perform arterial blood gas collection
- Operate and manage ventilators, BiPAP, and CPAP equipment
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to deliver quality patient care
- Adhere to unit protocols and policies, including on-call and weekend shift requirements
Required Qualifications
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification
- ACLS, BLS, PALS certifications required
- Working knowledge of EMR systems, particularly EPIC
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and weekends as scheduled
- Experience in ICU, PCU, ED, or medical floors preferred
Preferred Experience / Skills
- NRP certification
- NICU training, including deliveries and ventilator management
- Experience with ventilator management and arterial blood gases
