Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical

Schedule / Job Type:
Full-time, rotating shifts (3 shifts per week, 12 hours each)

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality patient care in a medical-surgical setting in accordance with clinical protocols.
• Work in a fast-paced environment with patient ratios of 5:1 during day shifts and 6:1 during night shifts.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to coordinate patient care plans.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and safety standards.
• Float between medical-surgical and telemetry units as needed.
• Self-schedule with support from the staffing team to balance shift coverage.

Required Qualifications:

• Valid registered nurse licensure.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Medical-Surgical RN.
• Ability to work 12-hour rotating shifts, including every other weekend and holiday.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Experience in telemetry units is a plus.
• Ability to adapt to floating assignments between med-surg and tele units.
