- Travel, 13-week duration, Night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM), 3 shifts per week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to telemetry patients in a hospital setting.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and monitor vital signs continuously.
- Interpret telemetry rhythm strips and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition.
- Administer medications and perform procedures such as PICC line removal and catheter management.
- Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Document patient information accurately in the electronic health record system.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in the state of Louisiana.
- BLS and ACLS certifications.
- At least 1 year of experience as a registered nurse in a telemetry or medical-surgical environment.
- Strong assessment skills, attention to detail, and ability to interpret cardiac rhythms.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with advanced call light systems and iMobile technology.
- Knowledge of hospital policies and procedures regarding telemetry care.
- Ability to work independently and in stressful situations.
