Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility setting
- Administer medications, treatments, and monitor patient health status
- Document patient information accurately using electronic charting systems
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to meet patient care needs
- Ensure compliance with facility policies and healthcare regulations
Required Qualifications
- Valid Alaska RN license in hand
- Minimum of 1 year nursing experience in a similar setting
- BLS certification (Basic Life Support) required
- Ability to work on-call as needed
- Must have at least 50 miles from the facility (no local candidates)
- Willingness to work every other weekend
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with Epic electronic charting system
- Ability to float within scope to meet facility needs
- Flexible with shift options closer to assignment start date
