Registered Nurse - ICU
Location: Columbus, OH
Schedule / Job Type: Full-time, 36 hours per week, rotating day and night shifts (12-hour shifts)
Key Responsibilities:

• Provide holistic patient care to adult and geriatric ICU patients, including those with complex diagnoses such as oncologic emergencies, COPD, pneumonia, ARDS, GI bleed, neuromuscular diseases, drug overdoses, and sepsis.
• Administer treatments including mechanical ventilation, pulmonary artery catheter placement, CRRT, chest tubes, and central venous catheters.
• Monitor patient vitals and clinical status using computerized charting systems, including EPIC.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to implement complex medication regimens and participate in clinical trials.
• Perform specialized procedures like bronchoscopy and endoscopy as needed.
• Ensure compliance with all certifications and hospital protocols to maintain patient safety and quality of care.

Required Qualifications:

• Valid state or compact licensed RN in hand at time of submission.
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications.
• NIH Stroke Certification preferred.
• Experience with ventilators, IV starts, and computerized charting systems.

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Prior ICU experience, especially in medical-surgical or MICU settings.
• Familiarity with EPIC or similar electronic medical record systems.
• Ability to efficiently manage complex patient care needs in a fast-paced environment.
