- Days, 4x10-hour shifts per week
Key Responsibilities
- Scrub for Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) procedures, including CABG, EVAR, TEVAR, valve replacements, and other thoracic and vascular surgeries
- Assist with cardiovascular/thoracic instrument reprocessing
- Maintain aseptic technique and assist with intraoperative procedures
- Document clinical data accurately using EPIC charting system
- Support the surgical team during CVOR cases, including crash cart management and equipment setup
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5+ years total Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) experience
- At least 2+ years in cardiac and vascular surgery
- 1+ year CVOR experience required
- 1+ year in a Level I Trauma facility preferred
- Certified in BLS
- Scrubbing experience required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with cardiovascular and thoracic instrument reprocessing
- Familiarity with CVOR procedures such as CABG, EVAR, TEVAR, and valve surgeries
- Proficient in aseptic techniques and intraoperative equipment documentation
