- Travel, Night shifts, 13-week assignment
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care to patients in a Medical Surgical/Telemetry unit
- Float to other units and hospitals as needed to support staffing needs
- Collaborate with healthcare teams, including nephrologists and hospital staff, to deliver comprehensive patient care
- Monitor and manage patients with kidney-related conditions, including post-hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis
- Document patient care accurately in the Meditech EMR system
- Support patients through all stages of their treatment, from diagnosis to recovery
Required Qualifications
- Associated degree in Nursing (ADN or higher)
- Valid RN license for the State of Alabama or a Compact state license (no temporary licenses accepted)
- BLS certification from AHA or RED CROSS
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, with at least 1 year in the specialty of nephrology or dialysis
- Willingness to work night shifts and float to other units and hospitals
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a renal or dialysis unit
- Strong collaboration skills with multidisciplinary healthcare teams
- Ability to adapt to different clinical environments and workload flexibility
