Registered Nurse - ICU

Location: Nashville, TN

Schedule / Job Type: Full-time, Travel, 13-week assignment, Day shifts (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM), 3 shifts per week

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized nursing care to ICU patients in a newly renovated, state-of-the-art unit with advanced equipment.
• Utilize clinical skills to perform procedures such as CRRT, intubations, and line placements.
• Monitor patient condition utilizing modern bedside monitors and document care in Meditech system.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including RNs, nurse externs, and charge nurses to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Adhere to hospital policies, guidelines, and safety protocols, including ICU-specific certification requirements.
• Maintain a compassionate and professional patient experience aligned with ICARE standards.

Required Qualifications:

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Tennessee.
• Minimum of 2 years ICU experience.
• Certifications: BLS and ACLS required.
• Ability to meet scheduling and floating policies as per hospital requirements.

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Experience working with advanced monitoring equipment and ICU procedures.
• Familiarity with Meditech documentation system.
• Experience with new technology and equipment in a fast-paced ICU environment.
