- Rotating shifts, part-time or full-time based on schedule
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care to laboring mothers and postpartum patients in a community hospital setting
- Monitor fetal and maternal vital signs, and respond to emergencies during labor and delivery
- Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans
- Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory standards, including delivering prenatal and postpartum education
- Document patient care accurately and thoroughly
Required Qualifications
- Current Montana nursing license or qualifying compact license
- BLS, ACLS, NRP certifications
- Intermediate AWHONN certification
- Experience in Labor and Delivery, OB, and postpartum nursing
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous experience working rotating shifts in a hospital setting
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations with professionalism and compassion
