Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care to cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology patients in a hospital setting.
• Assist with advanced procedures including PCI, PFO, Impella, IABP, and TAVR.
• Monitor patient status during procedures using equipment such as GE Innova, Impella, MacLab, and Meditech.
• Ensure compliance with safety, documentation, and patient experience standards, including ACLS and BLS certifications.
• Support floating within the EP and Stress Lab departments as needed and follow unit-specific policies and guidelines.
• Contribute to a team environment with experienced staff and utilize self-scheduling options.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a cath lab or related cardiology setting.
• Experience performing procedures like TAVR, PCI, PFO, and implant devices such as Impella and IABP.
• Ability to work 10.5-hour shifts in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with structural heart procedures and advanced heart support devices.
• Familiarity with hospital-specific documentation systems like MacLab and Meditech.
• Comfort with self-scheduling and working within dynamic department policies.
