Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, benefitted, 4 nights per week, 12-hour shifts, on nights

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to emergency department patients, including triage and primary care.
• Perform EKGs, administer IVs, draw lab samples, and manage medication administration.
• Assess patient conditions, develop care plans, and coordinate with the interdisciplinary team.
• Maintain infection control practices and ensure patient safety.
• Handle high-pressure situations with critical thinking and professionalism.
• Document patient information accurately and communicate effectively with patients and team members.

Required Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered Utah RN license (or compact state).
• Graduate of an accredited nursing school.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in med/surg and/or emergency department.
• Current BLS certification.
• Ability to obtain ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications if not already held.
• Proficiency in EKGs, IV insertion, blood draws, medication calculation, and administration.
• Knowledge of infection control, patient safety, and adverse reaction prevention.
• Ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs independently; more with assistance.

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Self-motivated and capable of working independently or in small team environments.
