• Days, Full-time, 8 hours per shift

Key Responsibilities

• Provide therapy services to a diverse patient population across various inpatient settings.
• Conduct assessments, document patient progress, and create treatment plans.
• Educate patients and their families on treatment protocols and injury prevention.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care.
• Work within acute care environments, supporting medicine, surgery, orthopedics, neurology, cardiopulmonary, and oncology units.
• Float within scope to meet facility needs, including coverage at sister facilities when necessary.

Required Qualifications

• Valid State License as a Physical Therapist.
• BLS certification.
• Minimum of 1 year of acute care experience.
• Strong communication skills and a desire to work with a variety of patient populations.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• EPIC electronic health record (EHR) charting experience.
• Experience working in a Level Trauma or teaching hospital setting.
• Flexibility to work weekends and participate in the floating team.
