- Full-time, Night Shifts, 3x12-hour shifts per week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care to patients in Labor and Delivery units.
- Maintain a 1:1 patient-to-nurse ratio for optimal care.
- Document patient information accurately using Meditech or similar electronic health record systems.
- Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure quality maternal and newborn care.
- Adhere to hospital policies, including charting and compliance standards.
- Support postpartum and nursery patient needs as required.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in Labor & Delivery, nursery, or women’s health.
- Valid nursing license required at the time of application.
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, AWOHNN.
- Ability to work night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
- No current requests for calendar week off; all time off requests must be submitted at time of application.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous experience in a Level III neonatal or maternity unit preferred.
- Familiarity with acute care hospital environments.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
