Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, Day shifts, 4x10-hour shifts per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide postoperative recovery care for adult, adolescent, and geriatric patients in a Level I Trauma Center
• Monitor patients' vital signs and manage invasive monitoring such as ICP and vasopressors
• Recognize and manage dysrhythmias and other cardiac events
• Administer blood products, start IVs, and perform phlebotomy procedures
• Care for ventilated patients and manage artificial airways
• Float within the hospital's PACU or PreOp units as needed

Required Qualifications

• Current valid state RN license (or compact license for Missouri) in hand at time of submission
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Critical care experience, including inpatient care in a Level I Trauma Center
• Experience with invasive monitoring, blood product administration, IV start, and dysrhythmia recognition

Preferred Experience / Skills

• EPIC charting system experience
• Experience caring for surgical patients across various specialties (neurosurgery, ENT, plastics, orthopedics, thoracic, vascular, trauma, general, colorectal, GYN, urological, electrophysiology, interventional radiology, transplant)
• Ability to float within scope to PACU or PreOp units
