Key Responsibilities

• Provide emergency nursing care in a fast-paced, stand-alone Emergency Department with a 24-bed capacity.
• Perform a variety of procedures including breathing treatments, chest tube setup and care, CPAP/BiPAP, high-frequency ventilation, sedation, RSI (rapid sequence intubation), trach care, and blood product administration.
• Obtain 12-lead EKGs, manage PA lines, utilize rapid infusers, and interpret telemedicine data.
• Manage central lines such as PICC lines, port-a-caths, and vascular devices; administer medications via syringe pumps and triple lumen catheters.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort through procedures such as cardioversion, defibrillation, drainage management, and feeding tube care.

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of ER nursing experience in a hospital or stand-alone emergency facility.
• Valid WA nursing license or Compact license.
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS.
• Ability to work 12-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in pediatric emergency care (15% pediatric patient population).
• Familiarity with trauma procedures and advanced airway management.
• Strong competency in central line management and emergency protocols.
