• Nights (3x12-hour shifts per week)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in the IMC, PCU, or Stepdown units, including post-surgical, cardiac, and medical-surgical patients.
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, managing dysrhythmias and titrating IV drips as needed.
• Manage peripheral lines, PICC lines, and assist with invasive procedures.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.
• Adhere to hospital protocols and compliance requirements, including mandatory screening and assessments.
• Float between various campus locations as needed, maintaining flexibility with scheduling.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in the state of North Carolina.
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience in IMC, PCU, or Stepdown units.
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIH certification.
• Experience with cardiac telemetry, dysrhythmia management, and titration of drips.
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic medical records.
• Ability to pass a Pass/Fail EKG exam prior to start date, with up to two attempts allowed.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a hospital setting requiring float between campuses.
• Knowledge of ICU or critical care procedures and protocols.
• Prior experience with peripheral line and PICC line management.
