Location: Santa Rosa, CA
Schedule / Job Type: Full-time, night shifts (3x12 hours)
Key Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized nursing care to laboring and postpartum patients in a busy acute care hospital.
• Monitor patient progress, administer medications, and assist with deliveries and postpartum care.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain detailed documentation using Epic charting.
• Adhere to unit-specific policies including ratios of 1:3 and specific shift orientation requirements.
• Work during major holidays as needed, with willing acceptance of float within the hospital or to nearby affiliates.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of labor and postpartum nursing experience.
• Valid California RN license.
• Certifications: ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, NRPN.
• Willingness to work night shifts and holidays.

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• AWHONN Advanced Certification.
• Experience with Epic charting system.
• Ability to handle block scheduling and adapt to unit float requirements.
