Schedule / Job Type

• Night shift, 13-week travel assignment, 12-hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 20-bed Progressive Care Unit (PCU) with a focus on cardiac and stepdown patients.
• Recognize and respond to dysrhythmias and manage critical drips with skilled precision.
• Utilize GE cardiac monitors and Hospira IV pumps to support patient treatment plans.
• Communicate effectively with multidisciplinary team members to ensure quality care.
• Adhere to unit policies, safety standards, and documentation protocols.

Required Qualifications

• Active Compact Registered Nurse license.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in a hospital PCU or similar setting.
• Strong dysrhythmia recognition skills and experience with critical drips.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Ability to work independently, confidently, and maintain a positive attitude under pressure.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with pre- and post-cardiac cath procedures and pacemaker patient care.
• Prior HCA or hospital corporation experience.
• Comfortable with EMR systems, specifically Expanse.
