Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive direct patient care to adult and geriatric patients with various cancer diagnoses, including endometrial, bladder, renal, ovarian, and cervical cancers.
• Administer chemotherapy, monitor for adverse reactions, and ensure patient safety during treatments.
• Perform specialized procedures such as brachytherapy and CBI, adhering to infection prevention protocols.
• Interpret telemetry readings, identify dysrhythmias, and respond promptly to changes in patient conditions.
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams and utilize rapid response teams as needed.
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient outcomes accurately using electronic charting systems such as EPIC.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Ohio or a valid compact license.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Medical Surgical and Telemetry nursing.
• Current BLS certification.
• Proficiency in chemotherapy administration and telemetry monitoring.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Certification from Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) in Chemotherapy.
• Experience with specialized oncology procedures including brachytherapy.
