Key Responsibilities

• Perform patient care interventions including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, and other medical procedures.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, ensuring effective monitoring and documentation of patient conditions.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living such as personal hygiene, nutrition, mobility, and elimination.
• Collaborate across disciplines to coordinate patient transfers, discharges, referrals, and provide psychosocial support.
• Educate patients and families based on age, cultural background, and health circumstances.
• Circulate during cesarean sections and assist physicians as needed in delivery rooms.
• Attend neonatal assessments post-delivery and participate in fetal monitoring certification classes biennially.
• Follow policies related to recovery and care of surgical patients, ensuring compliance with facility protocols.

Required Qualifications

• State of Wyoming RN license or RN compact license (must be attached to resume).
• BLS, ACLS, NRP, STABLE, and AWHONN certifications (attach certifications).
• Minimum of 2 years recent experience in Level 1 Nursery, Postpartum, OB/GYN, or L&D/LDRP units.
• Certification in neonatal and fetal monitoring (NRP certification preferred).
• Ability to float to other units as needed for staffing.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience caring for OB/GYN patients including post-op hysterectomy, antepartum, triage, labor, delivery, and postpartum care.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records systems.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
