Travel, Night shifts, 36 or 48 hours per week, 13-week assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered care in a dedicated Heart Failure and Stroke Unit, managing complex neuro-cardiac conditions.
• Float to other units and hospitals as needed to ensure optimal staffing and care delivery.
• Collaborate with cardiologists and neurologists to adhere to best practices and standards of care.
• Document patient care in the electronic medical record system accurately and timely.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety protocols, and licensing requirements.

Required Qualifications

• Associates degree in nursing.
• Active Alabama or Compact RN license (no temporary licenses accepted).
• BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA or Red Cross.
• A minimum of 2 years’ clinical nursing experience; consideration given to candidates with 18 months of specialized experience under a professional license.
• At least 1 year of experience in a medical-surgical or telemetry setting.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience working on a stroke or neuro-cardiac unit.
• Familiarity with Meditech electronic medical record systems.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, patient-facing environment.
