Job Title

• Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical/Telemetry

Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, Night shifts, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a Medical Surgical/Telemetry setting.
• Perform assessments, administer medications, and monitor patient vitals.
• Recognize and respond to ECG rhythms and other patient needs.
• Document patient care accurately and efficiently.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 months recent, permanent experience in Medical Surgical or Telemetry units prior to travel.
• Ohio license or valid compact state license in hand at the time of submission.
• Active BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Willing to obtain NIHSS certification prior to start.
• One recent reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty applying for.
• Ability to pass ECG rhythm recognition and SafeMedicate assessments during orientation.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with charge nurse responsibilities.
• Previous hospital or acute care experience in a similar setting.
• Familiarity with electronic health records and documentation systems.
