Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, rotating shifts, 3x12-hour shifts per week (night and day shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM / 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients on medical-surgical and telehealth units.
• Assess patient conditions, administer medications, and collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement care plans.
• Monitor patient responses and document accurately in electronic medical records.
• Adhere to hospital policies, safety protocols, and compliance standards.
• Work at least every other holiday as scheduled.
• Complete assessments during orientation, including ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate testing.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 months of permanent experience in Medical-Surgical or Tele nursing prior to travel assignment.
• Recent 18 months of MS/Tele experience, travel experience accepted.
• Active Ohio or compact state nursing license at the time of submission.
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications active and current.
• Ability to pass ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments with acceptable scores.
• Commitment to work at least every other holiday.
• Ability to complete required background checks and fingerprinting within 48 hours of signing contract.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous experience working in a hospital setting within a large healthcare system.
• Experience with electronic medical records systems.
• Ability to recognize and respond to cardiac rhythms effectively.
