• Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical/Telemetry

Schedule / Job Type

• Night shift, 3 or 4 shifts per week, 12 hours each, temporary assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a Medical Surgical/Telemetry unit.
• Monitor and recognize ECG rhythms, respond to patient needs, and document condition updates.
• Administer medications and treatments following hospital protocols.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure quality patient outcomes.
• Adhere to all safety and compliance standards during shift.
• Comply with facility policies regarding patient safety, documentation, and certifications.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 months recent and permanent experience in Medical Surgical Telemetry.
• Valid Ohio nursing license or Compact license in hand.
• BLS and ACLS certifications active and current.
• Ability to pass ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessments during orientation.
• Willingness to work at least every other holiday.
• Willing to work night shifts (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM).

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with hospital electronic health record systems.
• Strong critical thinking and communication skills.
