Schedule / Job Type
- Night shifts, 3 nights per week, approximately 12 hours per shift
Key Responsibilities
- Assess patients to determine mental, physical, and spiritual needs
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team
- Provide explanations and instructions to patients and their families
- Use clinical judgment to recognize and report changes in patient condition
- Maintain accurate and complete medical records
- Participate in continuing education to enhance skills and knowledge
Required Qualifications
- Current Illinois Registered Nurse license
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- ACLS certification
Preferred Experience / Skills
- At least two years of ICU experience
- Experience in cardiac, stepdown, or progressive care units is a plus
- Ability to demonstrate professional communication and conflict management skills
