Schedule / Job Type
- Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, 3 shifts per week (every other weekend)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care in the Labor and Delivery unit.
- Monitor fetal and maternal health, utilizing AWHONN fetal monitoring standards.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure safe and efficient patient care.
- Document patient information accurately and thoroughly.
- Follow facility protocols and maintain compliance with all certification requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse license in Tennessee.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery.
- Certification in AWHONN fetal monitoring at the intermediate level.
- Certifications in NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support).
- Ability to work night shifts and complete required modules/training.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a fast-paced obstetric environment.
- Familiarity with hospital protocols related to postpartum and antepartum care.
- Previous experience working in a facility with similar shift patterns.
