Job Title

• Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, 12-hour shifts, rotating days and nights, 3 shifts per week, contract

Key Responsibilities

• Provide advanced nursing care to emergency department patients, primarily in oncology and trauma cases
• Proficiently start IVs and monitor telemetry to ensure patient stability
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver timely and effective care
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in electronic medical records
• Respond swiftly to emergency situations, including stroke and cardiac events, following established protocols

Required Qualifications

• Valid compact or state nursing license in Ohio
• Minimum of 2 years of current emergency room (ER) experience
• EPIC electronic medical record system experience
• Current BCLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and PALS certifications
• Proficient in IV starts and telemetry monitoring skills

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Oncology experience preferred but not necessary
• Experience with fast-paced, high-acuity environments
• Ability to work in a 12-hour rotating shift schedule
