Job Title

Schedule / Job Type

• Travel, Days Shift (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM), 13-week assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and implement patient care for the emergency department, ensuring quality and safety.
• Provide compassionate and respectful care to patients, families, and staff.
• Demonstrate clinical competence appropriate to the adult patient population.
• Maintain compliance with organizational standards, policies, and certifications.
• Respond effectively to emergency and crisis situations, including patient transfers and acute care needs.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver efficient patient care.

Required Qualifications

• Current New Mexico RN license or valid Compact state license.
• BLS certification from AHA.
• Additional certifications such as ACLS, PALS, TNCC, or ATCN preferred.
• Ability to handle high-pressure situations in a fast-paced environment.
• Physical strength and dexterity to transfer and position patients and equipment.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly with diverse patient populations.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Minimum of 1 year of ER nursing experience.
• Prior travel or temporary nurse assignment experience.
• Knowledge of infection control protocols and emergency response procedures.
