Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical

Location: Fairfield, IA

Schedule / Job Type: Full-time, Night shifts

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver comprehensive patient care utilizing the nursing process, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Provide patient education and guide activities of ancillary staff to ensure quality care and adherence to professional standards.
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies and health and safety regulations.
• Ensure accurate documentation of patient care and progress.

Required Qualifications:

• Graduation from an accredited nursing school
• Current Iowa RN license
• BLS & ACLS certification through the American Heart Association

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Prior experience in a medical-surgical unit is preferred but not required
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
