Job Title

Schedule / Job Type

• Night shift, 12-hour shifts, 3 nights per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care to mothers and newborns across all phases of labor, delivery, and postpartum.
• Float between units as needed to support various OB and related departments.
• Utilize Epic electronic health records system for documentation.
• Assist with tasks across multiple units, ensuring high-quality patient care.
• Maintain compliance with hospital protocols, including NRP certification.
• Adhere to patient ratios, typically 1:1, 1:2, or 1:4, depending on patient needs.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Montana or Compact RN license (must be in hand at time of submission).
• Minimum of 2 years of recent labor and delivery nursing experience.
• Certification in Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP).
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and variable schedules.
• Proficiency with Epic electronic health records.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous experience in a critical access hospital setting.
• Ability to adapt to different units and support multiple roles as needed.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
