Key Responsibilities

• Provide bedside care to ICU, Med-Surg, and Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) patients, including after-hours care.
• Monitor cardiac telemetry, perform cardioversions, and manage continuous IV medications.
• Document patient care using EPIC charting system, and utilize equipment such as Omnicell, Philips monitors & telemetry, Philips defibrillators, plum IV pumps, BiPap, and ventilators.
• Collaborate with a team of emergency and other specialty nurses; float to other units as needed.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain accurate documentation of patient care.
• Support patient care in a 25-bed critical access hospital caring for ICU, OB, and Med-Surg patients.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience, including telemetry monitoring.
• Active RN license in Minnesota.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS (TNCC preferred).
• Experience with ventilators, telemetry, and IV pump management.
• Ability to work 12-hour day or night shifts, with occasional 8-hour shifts.
• Willingness to work two weekends every six weeks; call is not required.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous hospital experience with obstetric, emergency, or Med-Surg units.
• Comfortable working as the sole ICU-skilled nurse on site, supporting other departments as needed.
