Job Title

Schedule / Job Type
• Full-time, Onsite, Rotational shifts (including nights, weekends, and holidays), 4 shifts per week, 10 hours per shift

Key Responsibilities
• Assist with positioning, prepping, and draping surgical patients to ensure a sterile environment.
• Set up operating rooms with necessary equipment and instrumentation, verifying all are in working condition.
• Support surgical procedures across various specialties including general surgery, orthopedics, ENT, ophthalmology, OB/GYN, podiatry, and urology.
• Maintain sterile techniques and support the surgical team during procedures.
• Ensure all supplies are prepared and available prior to surgeries to promote efficiency and safety.

Required Qualifications
• Completion of an accredited Surgical Technician training program or equivalent on-the-job training.
• Certification from the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA), or Surgical Technologist Certification (CST), or certification from the National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT-TS-C).
• Must obtain and maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Ability to work rotating shifts and be on-call as required.

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Experience assisting in diverse surgical specialties with adult and pediatric patients.
• Strong knowledge of operating room protocols and sterile techniques.
