Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the emergency room setting, assessing and treating patients with acute health issues.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Monitor and evaluate patient responses to treatments, adjusting care as necessary.
• Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, procedures, and post-discharge care.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, protocols, and safety standards.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient care activities.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Montana Registered Nurse license.
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification.
• Current American Heart Association ACLS certification.
• Certification in the National Institute of Health Stroke Scale.
• PALS certification or Pediatric Emergency Nursing course.
• Minimum of 1 year of emergency or critical care nursing experience.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
• Experience with stroke care and trauma-related education.
• Familiarity with hospital policies related to hyper-acute and acute stroke care.
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills.
