• Full-time, Night shift (3x12 hours)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care to patients in the Labor and Delivery unit, including assessments, inductions, cesarean sections, external versions, NSTs, and newborn resuscitation.
• Administer medications and interventions such as Mag Sulfate and assist with special procedures like triage assessments and fetal monitoring.
• Float to other units within the hospital as needed, performing tasks within documented competencies.
• Ensure patient safety and compliance with all relevant protocols and standards.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver optimal maternal and newborn care.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Tennessee (active).
• BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate certifications.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent Labor and Delivery experience.
• Active EPIC EMR experience (at least 1 year).
• Must have experience with special procedures such as inductions, cesareans, and newborn resuscitation.
• Ability to float to other units within the hospital as required.
• Must submit Social Security Number with application.
• Must have recent ICU or L&D experience, with at least 1 year on a relevant unit.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with external versions and fetal monitoring.
• Previous travel or floating experience within hospital settings.
• Demonstrated competency in neonatal and maternal procedures.
