Job Title

Schedule / Job Type
• Night shifts / Full-time (12-hour shifts)

Key Responsibilities
• Provide high-quality emergency care to patients in a fast-paced hospital environment.
• Read and interpret EKG rhythms accurately, passing hospital proctored tests with over 80% accuracy in rhythms and 100% in critical rhythm identification.
• Document patient care using EPIC charting systems and utilize Omnicell Med system efficiently.
• Triage emergency cases, including Level 1 trauma situations, ensuring timely assessment and intervention.
• Float within the hospital as needed based on skill set and staffing requirements.
• Complete required training modules and certifications prior to start date.

Required Qualifications
• Valid New York State Nursing License (must be in hand at time of submission).
• Minimum of 2 years of current ED experience.
• BLS and PALS certifications.
• Ability to read EKG rhythms and pass related hospital proficiency tests.
• Experience with EPIC charting and Omnicell medication systems.
• Must be willing to work night shifts.
• Must be able to float within the hospital as needed.
• Must have recent Nursys verification and up-to-date certifications.
• Flu vaccination or approved exemption (medical or religious) required prior to start.

Preferred Experience / Skills
• ACLS certification.
• Experience in Level 1 trauma or triage.
• Telemetry experience preferred.
