Key Responsibilities

• Provide urgent and emergent patient care in a Level IV Trauma Center with 46 beds
• Collaborate within the medical team to deliver comprehensive emergency services
• float within the scope of practice to meet the facility's needs
• Adhere to all safety and charting protocols, utilizing Epic EMR system
• Work rotating day shifts (3x12 hours per week), including weekends and major holidays
• Maintain compliance with facility policies, including certifications and licenses

Required Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Alaska (or pending license with a 10-12 week processing time)
• Valid ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant ER nursing experience
• Ability to work 12-hour day shifts and accommodate a flexible schedule
• Willingness to work on major holidays and to float within scope as needed

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous experience in an acute care or trauma setting
• Epic charting experience
• Ability to work within a critical access hospital environment
