Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, night shifts, 36 hours per week (3 shifts)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to medical-surgical patients in a hospital setting
• Float within scope of practice and at unit leadership’s discretion as needed
• Complete required modules and certifications prior to orientation
• Adhere to hospital policies, including flu vaccination and travel compliance requirements
• Utilize electronic health records, specifically EPIC, for documentation
• Maintain compliance with unit-specific protocols and safety standards

Required Qualifications

• New York State RN license
• Minimum of 2 years acute hospital nursing experience
• Prior travel nursing experience preferred
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (ACLS preferred)
• EPIC electronic health record training or experience
• Ability to pass EKG/PF exam with 85% or higher
• Must be willing to float as needed within scope of practice

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in ED, ICU, Cath Lab, or Telemetry units
• Familiarity with Relias EKG modules and testing
• Recent travel nursing experience in medical-surgical units
