Job Title

• Registered Nurse - Operating Room

Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, 3 days per week, day shifts, 12-hour shifts

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized perioperative nursing care within the operating room setting.
• Assist with patient preparation, anesthesia, and post-operative recovery.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.
• Adhere to facility protocols and maintain compliance with healthcare standards.
• Float within hospital units as needed to meet coverage requirements.
• Work in a magnet-designated, Level II trauma hospital with a high standard for patient care.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Alaska RN license (must be in hand for auto-offer).
• Minimum of 2 years of OR nursing experience.
• Current BLS certification.
• Willingness to work 2 out of 3 major holidays.
• Must be willing to float within scope if required.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• ACLS certification.
• CNOR certification.
• Epic charting experience.
