• Full-time, contract, night shift (3x12 hours)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient nursing care to adult patients in a Medical-Surgical unit.
• Monitor patient vital signs and manage medication administration.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Document patient progress and maintain accurate medical records.
• Respond to emergencies and perform necessary assessments and interventions.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and safety standards.

Required Qualifications

• WV or Compact RN license (active or pending with license at start).
• Minimum of 2 years RN experience, with at least 1 year in medical-surgical or related specialty.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• Ability to work night shifts and adapt to floating within scope when needed.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Experience with Cerner charting system preferred.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior charge nurse or leadership experience.
• Familiarity with acute care surgical units and complex patient management.
