• Registered Nurse - Operating Room
Location
• Weston, WV
Schedule / Job Type
• Full-time, Contract, Days - 5x8s, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM, Monday to Friday
Key Responsibilities
• Circulate in the Operating Room for various surgical procedures including general, gynecological, orthopedic, ENT, and ophthalmology cases
• Assist in endoscopic procedures such as colonoscopy and EGD, as well as laparoscopic and other assisted surgeries
• Provide on-call support, ensuring availability within 30 minutes of the facility as required
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies and safety standards, including proper documentation and certifications
• Collaborate with surgical team to ensure patient safety and efficient operating room flow
Required Qualifications
• Active WV or Compact RN license
• Minimum of 2 years of recent operating room experience
• BLS certification via American Heart Association
• Valid certifications for ACLS, PALS (preferred)
• Ability to work a 7:15 AM – 3:00 PM schedule, Monday through Friday
• Willingness to be on-call as specified
Preferred Experience / Skills
• Experience with endoscopic procedures such as bronchoscopy and ENT surgeries
• Knowledge of EMR systems, preferably Cerner
• Previous travel or hospital staffing experience
