• Full-time, Night shifts, 3 shifts per week, 12-hour shifts

Key Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in a surgical progressive care unit with almost ICU-level acuity, including ENT, thoracic, general surgery, and urology cases.
• Proficiently monitor cardiac rhythms and manage cardiac drips, chest tubes, and feeding tubes.
• Care for post-operative patients, including those with epidurals and trachs, following established protocols.
• Float between different levels of care as needed within the hospital, including medical-surgical, PCU, and ICU units.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team and participate in patient education and discharge planning.
• Comply with facility requirements, including certification renewals, holiday work, and training.

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in Indiana or the ability to obtain a temporary license prior to start.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a comparable unit.
• Proficient in cardiac monitoring and management of cardiac drips.
• Certifications in ACLS and BLS required.
• Ability to work night shifts and participate in floating requirements.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience managing chest tubes, trachs, feeding tubes, and post-op care.
• Prior experience with epidural management and insulin drip titration.
• Ability to perform Doppler flap checks and external BiPAP/CPAP management.
• Flexibility to float to different units, including Med-Surg, PCU, and ICU.
